AustLII Internet Legal Research – National Training Program
This one day course provides a systematic introduction to Australian and international legal materials on the Internet, with an emphasis on those materials available for free access. The huge variety of free-access digital resources that have become available in recent years make them indispensable both to those who depend on free access, and to those who also have access to commercial legal systems. This course will enable you to keep yourself up-to-date.

The course is suitable for practitioners and others who wish to acquire up-to-date legal research skills, or to update their skills, but who do not consider themselves expert in online legal research. The course assumes an understanding of the principal types of legal materials, and how to browse the Internet, but does not assume prior knowledge of Internet legal research techniques.

Wills , Estates and Inheritance Disputes
This seminar will explore the types and nature of disputes over estates and wills. Guiding clients through these matters requires a special level of professionalism which must be underpinned by a proper understanding of current law. Family Provisions claims are often a vehicle for challenge. Deeds of Family arrangement will be examined. Issues concern capacity, FP Claims, Intestacies, structures and entities that may hold assets and their control.
